The Twin Pillars of Chivalry: The Courts of Anneville and Ivanhoe in the Modern World
The present Seigneur of Anneville also holds the distinguished title of Lord of the Manor of Ivanhoe, a manor that notably inspired Sir Walter Scott and stands as a paragon of the Chivalric Code. Registered officially in the United Kingdom, the Manor of Ivanhoe serves as the governing seat for the Order of Chivalric Merit of Ivanhoe, administered under the auspices of the Feudal Court of Ivanhoe.
In Anneville, we maintain our own distinct registries and are actively establishing global delegations of the Seigneurie. These delegations aim to bring together individuals and organizations that share our spiritual ideals, namely:

Delegations are administered by selected individuals personally appointed by the Lord of Ivanhoe and Anneville. Criteria for selection include:

The Court of Anneville
Located in its historic setting, the Court of Anneville is one of the few remaining manorial private courts still in operation on the island of Guernsey. The Court exercises oversight over the Registers and is tasked with admitting and verifying the credentials of new chevaliers.
The Court has embarked on an ambitious international initiative to propagate the Guernsey and Norman traditions globally. Participation in the Court therefore also entails involvement in the governance of the diverse Orders, Patronages, and initiatives that we sponsor. The Court holds ultimate responsibility for the maintenance and oversight of our registries

Our research center is a haven devoted to the exploration of ancient Norman traditions and their mystical convergence with esoteric paths like the Rose Cross alchemical tradition. The Inner Order of the Holy Grail serves as an interior society, passionately dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of the Anglo-Norman saga 'Perceval' and its sequels to further human spiritual growth.
As Seigneur I am fully entitled in creating or reviving an order of the manor.

The actual original source of the Blasons lies in the Norman tradition. Traditionally, the Channel Islands were always independent of the heraldic authorities of the United Kingdom and each family had its own coat of arms.
We believe that because of the special legal situation of the Channel Islands, the important members of our fiefdom and the members of our court still have a right to their Blason according to ancient Norman custom.
